• Open and apply as soon as you reach final travel destination. NOT for use during transit.
• Use two hands when using zipper with extra care around zipper corners.
• Do not leave any loose clothing, bags or shoes outside encasements.
• Double-check that zipper is fully closed except when removing contents.
• At the end of your stay, remove belongings and leave used BugZip^® in room for disposal.

BugZip^® encasements are recommended for use in one location only. Bugs can be on the outside of the BugZip^® and may be hard to see. Bringing a used BugZip^® from place to place defeats the purpose of the product.

FAQs

Will BugZip^® prevent me from getting bitten by bed bugs?

No, they will only prevent bed bugs from getting into your belongings while the bag is zipped tight, thereby greatly reducing the likelihood of you bringing them home with you.

Won't a mattress protector keep the bed bugs away?

Unfortunately, not. If bed bugs are in a mattress they will also be in many other hiding places in the room such as box springs, headboard, dresser drawers, wallboards, etc... You won't see them because they hide very well and only come out at night, but if the room is infested, they can easily crawl into your suitcase or loose articles and travel along with you.

When should I use BugZip^® in my own bedroom?

You should use BugZip^® at home if you suspect bed bugs are in your bedroom, are about to be treated for bed bugs, have recently been treated for bed bugs, or if one of your neighbors (in multi-unit buildings) has been treated for bed bugs. Using BugZip^® encasements at home, after washing and drying clothes, reduces likelihood of reinfestation in your belongings and makes it easier for your pest control expert to search for, discover and remove bed bugs.

Can I sleep in a BugZip^® encasement to prevent from getting bitten?

Absolutely not. BugZip^® is a suffocation hazard. Do not zip any person or pet inside BugZip^®. Do not leave children unattended with BugZip^®
